The Meru Mbega Lodge gives your clients the possibility to take a rest after a long flight from overseas, to enjoy nature and silence, and of course an excellent dinner at night time, before starting an impressive safari or trekking. Together with the neighbouring Meru Simba Farm, the lodge is run by Tanzaniab​/​European management. Your client will be received in his own language, but has also the opportunity to learn some Kiswahili from the friendly African staff The 20 spacious and comfortable rooms, with capacity from 2 to 5 persons, are distributed around the main building, surrounded by colourful gardens, in which dozens of species of birds have found their home. The open main building comprises the african-style restaurant and bar, and a relaxing lounge area. A swimming pool, an open-air fitness, a small Masai souvenir shop and a campsite with clean washrooms and toilets, complete our offer. The Meru Mbega Lodge is the ideal base for climbing the Kilimanjaro and the Mount Meru, and with its situation half way Kilimanjaro Airport and Arusha town, a practical starting point for a safari in the northern part of the country. We also organise walks in the surroundings guided by our Masai guide or cultural excursions with visits to the authentic villages and markets of the region.
